Living statue + LED Blinky kit!

We decided to combine the art of a living statue with the mechanics of the LED blinky light kit. First we researched tips for being a living statue:

It seemed like an important part about being a living statue was character and an action for when to come alive. Typically the statue performs some kind of action when they get money but in this case A person had to interact with the blinking lights to get a reaction.

The costume was black clothes and white gloves and the interaction was that when it was pressed I either waved or slapped the person who touched the blinky light kit.

Process

First we figured out how to turn the camera to manual mode and we put the shutter speed to one second.

This is the drumset we used... yup!

We only had one functioning watch battery so tried the effect of a 9 volt battery to power the LED... that did not work... It only shorted out the LED--too much power!

We decided to just go with one drumstick... and we attached two LEDs to one battery.

Other materials include: One Bizkit
And one Butters.
